I intend for this blog to have a very specific framework-- I will be commenting on my reaction to songs that I select (or are recommended to me) from categories such as genre, form, or instrumentation. Here are my beginning options:
Any song mentioned on the front page of a music download site (itunes, rhapsody, etc). This will hopefully encapsulate any music that the general public finds desirable.
Congregational Worship This includes all styles of worship material that could be used in a group context of christian worship.
Personal Worship Stuff I wouldn't lead up front, but might enjoy for my own edification
Genre Songs This could be just about anything-- as long as it fits in some sort of category and I have no prior knowledge of the song
Near and Dear to Me Songs Okay, I gotta give myself the chance to explain why I can't get enough of the songs that I can't get enough of. Hopefully this will offer pieces to the puzzle that is my brain.
Children's Songs Just because I like to find cool stuff for Jude. And, it opens up my creativity.
My Songs Pretty self explanatory
Today both of my boys bit my parents' dog. Annabella found a discarded pack of gum in the trash and ate it. Right now I hear her in the other room telling her dad she needs a knife. This is a day like any other day.
