Boy, do I have a lot of catching up to do! And Christmas is right around the corner, so I'll try to be a good momma and get up to date.
We had a pretty short visit with Nana-- especially since I had SOOO much work to do to get ready for the Christmas Music season at Trinity. Nana was Jude's constant caregiver while I worked. We had a couple of days to actually get out of the house and do some fun things. Of course, we HAD to take Nana to visit the pipe organ!
We took a trip to the Virginia Air and Space Museum in Hampton. We were all so surprised by how much there was to do and see! Jude especially wanted to check out the air planes. We spent a good amount of time in the cockpit of this passenger airplane. I played with a flight simulator and successfully took off and landed a flight! Kinda missed the runway by a few miles, but hey, no one died. ;)
Our final meal together was at our old local mexican joint, Mi Hogar, where Jude got his first taste of fried ice cream.
We loved having Nana here and can't wait until she retires so we can see her even more!
